Norway’s 4 national museums for the arts, architecture and design were merged to form the National Museum. With barely any new acquisitions for 20 years and an over reliance of the Munch exhibit the new museum needed to re-engage with families and tourists. With just 1 typeface and 2 colours our new identity became a messaging system to build awareness of what was on offer. The 4 Museums broke their record for number of visitors within 6 months of the rebrand.
